BioPhotas Celebrates 15 Years with a New LED Light Therapy Device

It seems like high-tech beauty devices are just becoming popular, but BioPhotas LED light therapy devices have been on the market for 15 years. The company, an early pioneer in high-tech beauty, is celebrating its milestone anniversary this year with a new launch, the Celluma Mystique.

According to BioPhotas, the Celluma Mystique is the first FDA-cleared LED mask that treats acne, facial wrinkles, and hair loss on the scalp—all in a single device. The company says it will soon meet regulatory requirements to sell in the UK, EU, Canada, and Mexico.

“It’s the same technology as our flagship Celluma PRO, now in the form of a mask that offers more value than any other LED mask on the market,” says Patrick Johnson, Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer at BioPhotas.

The mask delivers five treatment protocols and can run two treatments simultaneously. It covers the face and has a part that goes over the head—so users can treat the face and scalp simultaneously. “No other device on the market offers this,” BioPhotas states.

Users will see visible improvements in as little as four weeks, when used three times per week, according to Johnson. “Unlike many devices on the market, Mystique is built on proven technology, designed by our engineering team in California, and manufactured in the United States with our North American partners,” Johnson adds.
